I've updated recalbox to 9.1, hoping the update would fix this, it didn't. BUT what I actually think the issue is, is my game controller apparently needs a bluetooth dongle to plug in to the raspberry pi USB port. I found that info on the recalbox website. So I guess instead of relying on the raspberry pi bluetooth connection, it will use the dingle connection instead?

Won't those two bluetooth resources conflict with eachother?

@dapaze I do not have enough technical knowledge to be able to help you as you wish, but, I will try to answer considering what I know:

Its volume adapter, according to the description, works on Windows and MAC, and Recalbox is based on linux, so I believe that it is not compatible, due to the lack of drivers (if it doesn't even work on linux, it doesn't work on Recalbox).

Looking at the Network settings in Recalbox, both the STATUS and IP ADDRESS are showing NOT CONNECTED. When I try connecting to recalbox on my mac using smb://recalbox, I get an error... "There was a problem connecting ..."

I double checked that recalbox and my mac are sharing the same wifi.
