would recalbox work on an old Thinkpad T43? They have a 4:3 screen which would be nice.
If it runs, up to which console generation would it work?

@Scavy The thing is, loading does not even start. Nothing happens, only "READY" and the blinking cursor

I have several ROMs that don´t start at all. I just get the blue screen and READY, but nothing else happens.
These are T64 ROMs.
But other T64 ROMs work, they start with Load"*",8,1
Why do some start and others don´t?

@Scavy yes, Amiberry has this different type of saving, where you cannot simply save with the button combination, but you have to go into the Amiberry menu and save there.
I also think (and I´ve read that in another thread) that the Amiberry WHDLOAD files are not saved. If I´m right they should only be created once, not on every game start.

Could this be connected to me using an additional SD Card just for the games?

@Scavy Hi, what do you mean by core? Amiberry? Saving works with the other Amiga emulators, I just tested that. But Amiberry is the default and it also worked with an older version with my Raspi 3.

Trying to save just gets me out of the menu back to the game, and the savegame is not existing.

Well i did scrape the games with the internal screenscraper as I wrote.
I don´t get what you are trying to say

Finalburn Neo Roms are detected well by the screenscraper, but one thing is bad:
The game names are the short version, the same as the zip is called.
Like FINALB instead of "Final Blow" or MARINEB for "Marine Boy".
Why is that and how can I fix it?

Hey there,
I´ve added whdload rom folders and .uae files to the amiga1200 folder.
But they do not show up in the games list.
.adf files are shown.

I´ve even added the kickrom13, 20 and 31 to the bios folder (although adf also work without these roms, so I´m not sure if they still need to be added or if the documentation is old)
Anyway, added the kickroms did not help, no whdload games are visible.

What else can I do?

Braucht man immer noch extra kickroms für WHDload Roms?
Bei mir werden die ROMs überhaupt nicht angezeigt wenn ich die entpackt in Ordnern im amiga1200 Ordner liegen hab.
Als sie noch gepackt waren als .lha, da wurden sie wenigstens angezeigt, wurden aber nicht gestartet.
Die leeren .uae files hab ich übrigens in beiden Fällen mit in den amiga1200 Ordner gelegt.

Wie schließe ich denn einen "alten" pin9 Competition Pro an den Raspberry Pi an, damit er mit Recalbox funktioniert?
Hab gesehen es geht prinzipiell über GPIO?
Brauch ich da auch einen extra Adapter?
Wenn ja, wo bekomm ich so einen?

Die andere Möglichkeit ist ein db9 to USB Adapter.
Da gibt es diesen Retro Fun twin adapter.
Funzt der einfach so mit Recalbox auf RaspberryPi?

Wäre dankbar für eure Praxiserfahrungen!

Hey, is there a way to show the current status of the PS3 Controller.
I had the problem that suddenly I could not do anything in the game because the battery was empty.
Found this for RetroPie, is there something similar for Recalbox or can this be used for recalbox as well?

Is there a way to make the amiga emulator show in widescreen?
It seems to be in a 4/3 box and in that box some games, e.g. speedball2 are in 16/9 format.

It is so low as n64 is really CPU demanding.
You can adjust it, search for n64.videomode in the recalbox.conf

Hey, I´m trying to run Nitro on AmiBerry.
It loads and loads and then just stops, nothing happening any more.
What can I try? Is there an error log for AmiBerry or something?
What are common issues?

@sag508 thanks, in the meantime I also realized that I can use FTP to access the SD Card. This is much better than using the web interface!
