Black screen after loading screen

Hi sorry for double post, i try to delete the other.
This is my prob:

Hi,
i have this prob, everyday i do the same, stop the emulator and copy roms, and start again.

Well today after start again, and after loading screen i see al black.

I dont change nothing and i can access by ip to the recalbox.
I try to restore the conf, and reboot, and we start again with the conf template.

Nothing always black screen after loading (now i can read the loading screen in english, before in italian).

Any ideas? There is a possibility to restore o.s. without losing roms etc? i use an sd.

i can access to recalbox by ip, windows, putty in ssh and winscp. Maybe timeout for a lot of roms?

@gothrek What do you mean with "start again"? The system or the ROM?
How many ROMs do you have?

You can do the following to store all your data, ROMs etc. on a USB-Stick. After this you only have the OS on your SD and you can do a clean install.

i works with recalbox for the last 4 weeks, i use it every day and i put news roms every day.
i stop the emulation copy the roms by network and start the emulation.

yesterday, after start the emulation, a very long time for start (i understand that depend from the numbers of the roms) i receive a black screen. (i have 100Gb of roms)

i can see the loading screen but when complete i cannot see nothing.

i dont know if there is a timeout or other thing.

@gothrek With emulation you mean starting a ROM? So the system itself works or it fails on boot?

@lackyluuk i cannot see the menu for choising a system (snes or other), going to black screen after recalbox loading. the emulation is started but i cannot use it.

above you has written that you transfer a lot of roms to the system.
Have you looked that you have not transfered a non compatible character in the romname?
for example
correct = 720 Degrees.extension
wrong=720°.extension
This maybe can make problems.

When you can access the recalbox-manager via ip, look into the logs.

EDIT: the example file 720°.extension can be show up as 720?.extension in gamelist or your romfolder

@abunille tks i m going to check, but it's improbable cause i use clrmamepro for check/change all name before copy. i try to delete the last roms and try again.

i dont found any solution about it, i reinstall all and copy all roms (excluded mame 24G), works, i try tomorrow to put again all mames roms.

@substring i copy all roms (more then 100g) in windows with extend2fs virtual volumes.
i put my sd in my notebook.
