Strange problem with SSD and Recalbox Remix
-
Good evening,
I have a Zotac Zbox CI520 nano with an internal 64 GB SSD. I downloaded the actual Recalbox remix 5 (http://recalbox.remix.free.fr/ , tried both x86 and x64) and copied the images on a Mac with dd on to the SSD of the Zbox (connected with an USB adapter).
If I try to boot from the SSD, there is only written "Recalbox" on the display and a blinking cursor. Nothing happens, the additional partitions were not created.
If I do the same with a simple USB stick, everything works. There is the same "Recalbox" written at startup, but short after that, the Recalbox Splashscreen is displayed.
Does anyone have an idea, why Recalbox is not continuing the boot from the SSD?
For your Information: Openelec is working fine on the same SSD.
Thank you very much

Those images don't work (officially) with with HDD or SDD. Apparently there are some people who managed to boot from those, but only they know how. But is is planned to add support, so be patience.

Recalbox remix is not an official recalbox team release, but a fork. Some of the work was included in the official recalbox, but not everything. As its author decided to fork, it's up to him to offer support, so please get in touch with him.
