I suppose the current version is broken or has severe bugs.

I installed RecalBox for Raspberry Pi 3 (18.07.13 - https://archive.recalbox.com/) on a 32GB SanDisc Class 10 Micro SD using Etcher (Card is definetly working fine)

I bootet RecalBox, add my GamePad, entered my WiFi password data and started to put on a game.
After rebooting, both the system (using the GUI Option from "start menu") Both my Wifi-Password and the Game was gone.

I reinstalled RecalBox several times, including on another SD Card, compared the SHA1SUM but the problem persists.

@sean It all indicates that you are not waiting for the first start complete the process. It is in the first time you start Recalbox that it creates the SHARE partition, if you have not wait to complete the process, that's exactly what happens.

            Ohhhh.... ohh.

After I flashed RecalBox using etcher, I wondered myself, why the ReaclBox partition was so small and I increased the partition size manually using parted... I did not assume RecalBox would alter the partition table on first start. I gonna try another time. Thanks so far

reinstalled RecalBox without resizing and let the Pi and the system took care of it. Now there is a third "shared" Patition and everything saves persistently. Thanks for help. This issue is solved 🙂
