@juas I have recently changed over from RetroPie to Recalbox and I'm experiencing the same issue with Recalbox 9.2.2-pulsar. I'm using the same Raspberry Pi 3b+ connected via HDMI cable to my TV. The sound bar is also connected via HDMI cable.

I tried adding the following line to the /boot/recalbox-user-config.txt file but this didn't help:

hdmi_ignore_cec=1

I also had this problem, it came from free space on my microsd. there are precautions to take before updating and it is to check if you have enough free space on your microsd or removable media.

It seems there are a lot of things that got fixed in galaga after mame2003/0.78, that's why mame2003-plus uses a more recent version of the driver, which needs a more recent version of the romset (probably mame2010/0.139). From what i'm seeing in the mame changelog, i wouldn't recommend using mame2003/0.78 to play galaga.

in the 2 computers I use the same version of Windows 7 . I definitely think the problem was in the Card Reader thanks!!!
