@nordicpower try activating the Joypad to Keyboard option in Retroarch‘s menu (arrow) and pressing SELECT on your gamepad to simulate the ESC key press.

@Colin-Williams why not use hotkey instead of esc ? And why the enter button ? Computer games ?
