@strodown tried on a 16GB USB stick, but still incredibly slow, could be the USB stick, but it was like this before too (even with an SSD). ES says Recalbox V.

It seems to find "radeon" in var/messages logs, 512MB VRAM to 2048MB VRAM if I interpret it correctly.

@tomowen there will be a big update in the future (no ETA, don't ask 🙂 ) wich should bring along much better compatibility with various x86 hardware, for now, it is a bit hit and miss
