Mame 2010 recalbox 18.02.09

I ve got some issues with mame 2010 on the last recalbox update.

CPS2 games runs full screen by default and it’s impossible to remap controller with mame 2010

is it normal?

@newnetcity not all cores support core remapping. I can't tell for mame2010, but this could be the case

Mame 2010 is broken (in some kind). Second player controller is loosing a part of its buttons (in XBOX its B and R1). 2 buttons from 6 functional are not working. Directional and start/select are ok.

@newnetcity cores that have their own menu don't need core remapping. I haven't tried mame2010, but mame2003 has a menu, so i'd say the same goes for mame2010

on mame2003 and others cores/emulators (and in the system) i have no problems, all buttons are working correctly

I recently updated the input code for mame2010. It now supports four players and standard retroarch input remapping. These features may not have made their way to the recalbox version yet, but they will the next time the core is updated on this side.

@markwkidd also OP is right all CPS1 and CPS2 games are deformed, and a few others two

I don't know about the CPS1/CPS2 error and it is not logged yet on github: https://github.com/libretro/mame2010-libretro/issues

If the mame2010 core is updated in recalbox and there is still a bug with CPS, please submit a new github Issue and include a log.

do you really need a log ? it's just that the game appears deformed on screen ... I will do two screenshots mame2003 / mame2010 of the same game to show the problem and then log an issue
