"multipad" ? Did you mean multitap?
I've got the same issue with Tekken3 and BushidoBlade2 and it didn't help. It is strange because i was playing those games before an update.
Crash Team Racing is working fine.

on mame2003 and others cores/emulators (and in the system) i have no problems, all buttons are working correctly

Mame 2010 is broken (in some kind). Second player controller is loosing a part of its buttons (in XBOX its B and R1). 2 buttons from 6 functional are not working. Directional and start/select are ok.
