.srm not loading in snes

I am trying to move a .srm from a emulator i used to play Super Mario World to the Recalbox i just put together i put the Super Mario World(USA).srm file into RECALBOX/share/saves/snes. I restart my RECALBOX then go into game and the .srm does not load. Am i doing something wrong here with how i am supposed to get this done. Thank you

The .srm might be incompatible, are you sure it has been created with the same, compatible emulator ?

That i do not know i did not that would be a issue so i need to figure out how to make it compatible if i am going to get it to work.

@steven-c-janocha enter the same a save it. Check if the name of that save is the same as you got from the other emulator.
