      Hi, since i had no answer in a previous post, i now have to post it again, i have a Raspberry pi 3 working with a power source of 2A, and i know that the minimum is 2.5A. my question is: if i upgrade the power source, say 3A, will i have more performance in emulators such as psp, psx and nintendo 64? Please forgive my english

        @alejandro-sánchez Hello 🙂
        Actually it doesn't matter. As long as you don't face a colored square or a yellow lightning in the upper right corner of your display the RPi has enough power to run fullspeed. The hardware itself limits the performance, not only the power you provide.

          @lackyluuk what does it mean if i do see the colour square or the lightning (beside the fact that i dont have enough current)??

            Hi,

            how @lackyluuk said, the hardware limits the perfomance itself, but undervoltage can also makes problems with performance, lags, issues (maybe not much, but it does).
