New subforum : tester's corner

As 4.1 is finally out, and we promised a better update cycle, this also means that we'll be counting on you for some features/bug correction testing.
Please do not create any topic here and leave it to moderators. Just contribute to the topics.
Please do not participate if you just want features before others. This is not the aim of this process we're setting up with you.
This what we expect from you:
- never use your main SD/USB stick for testing purpose (unless you're feeling very confident and know much about Recalbox)
- know the very basics of Linux:
- remount partitions as RW
- connect through SSH, browse through the filesystem, edit files, understand for example what
cd ~/configs/retroarch
means
- can run commands on demand
- can properly use the markdown syntax for reporting on the forum
- understand that we can software-brick your Recalbox and you don't mind because it just needs a format + install
- you MUST speak english
-
@substring hi sub ! I spoke with @rockaddicted about pc x64 things ...
If you want I can test somethings on this version ... for example in my case n64 doesnt work very well, but in the same computer in windows7 runs perfect (obviusly with another emulator) -

But maybe also you need a place to report the problems ... I saw in "fororaspberry" (in spanish) that when I put the news about 4.1 launch people report some kind of problems (in rpi3) -
@jackalpret that's the role of the forum : reporting problems, share knowledge, ask for advice, give some insights about some personnal thoughts, show your bartop etc ...
-
once new feature or bug fix ready to be tested.
we'll create a post with custom test udpate branch and you'll be able to upgrade your recalbox to test and make reports before we merge that on master dev branch. -
What do I have to do to help you with the ppsspp Problem on the rpi3b+?

J'ai reçu il y a quelques jour le Raspberry Pi 3 B+ et je me porte volontaire pour faire des tests le jour ou vous en aurez besoin.
Bonne soirée !
