[Solved]Having issues with changing roms directory (hdd)

Gonna get the good roms (also neogeo & mame) from a friend of mine. He uses hyperspin, so his roms are all ready fixed and checked.

I think this topic can be closed. Got 20 systems in recalbox almost everything with full rom sets (and every rom has his cover) . Thanks for the help

Maybe one more question, can't find the answer on Internet. When using mame 78 roms. Sometimes it's a small screen (not full 4:3). I know it has to do with the resolution the rom is in. But is it possible to stretch that to full screen 4:3?

You can use the ratio setting in the Emulation Station menu or in retroarch (trickier) But it's perfectly normal some games (Donkey Kong, vertical shoot em ups) where displayed on a vertical screen that is just a normal screen turned 90° so 3/4 Stretching them would kill the original aspect ratio and distort the image For games having real issues, try them in fba_libretro in most cses itsolves the problem... see bestarcade4recalbox doc for full list

Most of my games are now running in fba_libretro. Als got a few in mame. Is there a way to change the button layout in mame? Fba_libretro & mame have different layouts. Would be nice if mame had the same as fba_libretro (like that one better). Love recalbox, only thing i miss is a way to setup buttons and kodi jarvis. I read somewhere that jarvis will come (correct me if i'm wrong). Then it wil be perfect. Thanks for the help

only thing i miss is a way to setup buttons
can you explain your problem exactely ?
-
What i mean is like in Mame you can change the pre-mapped buttons (press right trigger). Would be nice if it was possible in FBA libretro. Or did i miss that option?
-
that is a mame only feature, not related to recalbox. You may try the core remap function otherwise

Here i am again (sorry). Can someone tell me how to make a '. scummvm' file. I think i'm going full retarded over here, because i don't get it. And i still got an issue with virtual Boy roms. Tried many different roms and non work. Do i need a bios voor virtual Boy roms? Thanks again

To answer your question: 1. SCUMMVM Create a text file (.txt) with the short name of your game, and change the extension to .scummvm 2. VirtualBoy No, no need for bios file

Everything works fine now, except virtual Boy and ps3 controller has issues. A lot of the time it doesn't connect (wireless). Gonna get a xbox 360 controller in the next few days. Hopefully that works better.
