PiBoy DMG with RPi4.
Kodi doesn't work, Asks to enable a lot of plug ins, once past all that it seems fine for the first run, will play videos no problem. Second time to run Kodi, get an isntant message "Playback Failed", and none of the buttons or joypad respond. Turning off the power button results in a "Power Options" window popping up then dissapearing, then popping up then disappearing over and over until I pull the battery.

Hi, I bought two generic PS3 joysticks and I can't pair them with the Raspberry Pi3 model B (which has recalbox latest Beta version 8.0). I've tried connecting them using an USB cable for 10 seconds and then holding the PS button with no luck. I can navigate the EmulationStation menu but they don't work inside the games. I've also tried with the bluez, official and shanwan configurations. According to the joystick's lights it's always the 5th controller even though it's the only one connected.
I used Putty to find out which clone they were, this is the result:

Found the answer... Start + Dpad up for 10 seconds solved this issue. Been so long since I setup an image for this case, I forgot about this.

First, thanks for the great update.
I'm here to repport an issue on the gpi case version (for the raspberry pi zero 2).
The zx spectrum emulator is working fine, however saving/loading states is just not working.
It crashes the emulator, and it quits to the roms list.
Second issue : the Kempston joystick emulation is not working at all. I tried with 2 games (attic attac & head over heels) and none is working with Kempston joystick.
Also, the amiga emulator (uae4arm libretro) has issues with sound, I think. Either one of the channels is missing or very low so that the music sounds really strange. With earphones, sound is normal and both channels can be heard very clearly.
When restarting recalbox from the menu, it freezes on the favorites screen and I have to switch the gpi case off and restart it.

@eldontyrell Thanks for your feedback. Libretro-fuse has been updated to fix the issue. The core si now based on FUSE 1.6.0.
sometimes when unplugging a controller and plugging it back, it doesn't work.
Once this happens, any new controller plugged in will not work and you have to restart.
This issue also persists sometimes when the bluetooth controller gets disconnected for a second.

Dreamcast no longer runs off the joystick, you have to use the D-pad. playing marvel vs capcom is unbearable for my kids.

After updating the system to version 8, it loads the intro video with audio and everything working and then gets stuck in the Recalbox Pacman logo.

I'm tring to configure the NES switch online controller. I've managed to add it throught bluetooth and it now connects, but it doesn't recognise when I push the buttons to configure it (none of them). What can I do? Thanks!
@pitch64 Hey, I just auto-updated to the beta because I couldn't get the fan working with 7.2.2, hoping the fan controller utility would work... but I just get "command not found" if I try and run recalbox-wpaf and I get the same error trying to run this script as if I tried to run the standard one in 7.2.2:

i am new in this forum and wondering if this thread is the right place to report bugs in the current beta.
i did an installation on my 2 pi4s, one mounted in an argon one case and the other one in a piboy dmg wich is freshly supported with the beta.
in the piboy dmg i can not get n64 and psp running, screen stays black, but the games can be terminated by pressing start and select. on the argon one everything is working fine. so i assume an issue with the dpi/gpio display output in the piboy dmg for those two systems. i don‘t have a mini/micro hdmi cable available to check if the signal might be on the hdmi output for those systems.
maybe someone can try to reproduce this to check/confirm and look into this.
piboy dmg is running on current firmware (1.0.5)

and one more thing i recognized with the piboy dmg. everytime you restart the device the volume resets to the value configured in settings, even if the device should be muted by the volume wheel. when i turn the wheel just slightly to increase the volume a little bit it reduces to the value provided by the wheel.
this seems to occure for the startup video and then again when emulationstation is up and running.
The MAME's games "Field Combat" and "The combatribes" are detected wrongly as lightgun games. They works OK (without dolphin bar) but if I have the dolphin bar connected, then the game back to emulationstation on launch the game.
Tested on RB 8 beta.
@ylatef this error is completely normal, the daemon is started without the modules loaded, so once you have this error, press Enter then you can reboot.
The script is not compatible with recalbox-wpaf as it can't have the possibility to write in the bus of the pi to shut it down. If you would like to use this script, do not use recalbox-wpaf and if you would like to use recalbox-wpaf, don't use this script but you won't have full shutdown of the case.
