                @Dekiste I did try few options earlier from this thread. But I will give it another try but using all the possible combinations of card / device. I will report back next week.

                  @Dekiste Didn't have much luck. Ended up buying cheap speakers and plugged them into Audio Out.

                    @abuzaid what did you do? it worked for me making these steps:

                    -ssh connection (user: root, password: recalboxroot) and type the following:

                    mount -o remount, rw /
                    nano /etc/asound.conf

                    -Inside the file "asound.conf" write the following:

                    pcm.!default {
                    type hw
                    card 0
                    device 3
                    }

                    -After that, Ctrl+O to save the file and Ctrl+X to exit

                    If this does not work, try another device numbers, like 1, 2, 5...

                    Regards.

                      @Dekiste Correct, I tried different options under Card 0 and 1. Do I need to reboot after each change? I was just saving them and hoping for sound?

                        @abuzaid Yes, you should reboot the system after every change... 😀

                          That didn't go very well. I ended up with no sound at all, so I had to re-installed recalbox to get it back over the Analog port. I am going to leave it, since I already bought speakers. @Dekiste @ian57 thank you for your assistance. My best guess is that the ZBox I have probably has some different NVidia chip, and they drivers probably are not shipped with recalbox to support audio over HDMI.
