Solved Games not starting, WAIT read the whole post! Contoller to blame?

Hi, thanks in advance for any help that you can offer. Running Version 6.1 on Raspberry Pi 3. I was able to pair both of my 8BitDo controllers (SN30 pro & N30 pro 2) pads successfully. They both move the dashboard screen and go to game selection no problem. But when I select a game it goes to black or the pac-man screen and freezes. I am certain it has something to do with the controllers as this does not take place when using my USB gamepads. I had a few pairing issues with the older versions but the games always played fine. Any advice?

@orion5 maybe the Start Mode of the controller you try to use isn’t the right one?

My problem was the same for n30 pro 2.
Before u connect start the controller with start+B

@einklinker You ARE AWESOME!!!! Thank you! It was the ANDROID setting not the Windows! I could not find which to set when searching! Who would have thought that could change the load times! Thanks again to both of you for helping!

Exactly why i sold my SFC30, their mode stuff is totally annoying, especially since my (first generation) model was completely losing pairing if it was booted in another mode (idk if it is better now).
