@Scavy The thing is, loading does not even start. Nothing happens, only "READY" and the blinking cursor

    • RE: Recalbox on Thinkpad T43

@jamesssbot hey thank you! Would a Thinkpad R61 make a big difference in performance?
The thing is, I need a 14 inch 4:3 screen, so these notebooks came to my mind. If you know any other notebooks with such a screen, please let me know!

    • Recalbox on Thinkpad T43

      Hello,
would recalbox work on an old Thinkpad T43? They have a 4:3 screen which would be nice.
If it runs, up to which console generation would it work?

      Thanks

    • Some C64 ROMs do start, some don´t, why?

I have several ROMs that don´t start at all. I just get the blue screen and READY, but nothing else happens.
      These are T64 ROMs.
But other T64 ROMs work, they start with Load"*",8,1
Why do some start and others don´t?

    • RE: Amiga Save States not working

@Scavy yes, Amiberry has this different type of saving, where you cannot simply save with the button combination, but you have to go into the Amiberry menu and save there.
I also think (and I´ve read that in another thread) that the Amiberry WHDLOAD files are not saved. If I´m right they should only be created once, not on every game start.

Here are two guys who had the same issue btw, the thread is in german: https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/24264/recalbox-7-2-1-amiga-save-state/4

Could this be connected to me using an additional SD Card just for the games?

    • RE: Amiga Save States not working

@Scavy Hi, what do you mean by core? Amiberry? Saving works with the other Amiga emulators, I just tested that. But Amiberry is the default and it also worked with an older version with my Raspi 3.

    • Amiga Save States not working

I have the exact same problem as described here: https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/24904/recalbox-7-2-2-pi-4-amiberry-savestates-not-working

Trying to save just gets me out of the menu back to the game, and the savegame is not existing.

      I´m on Recalbox 8

@zetof Thank you! Didn´t see that one. Should be the default setting.
Strange that SNES and other plaforms have nice names anyway

@DacK said in Screenscraper wrong game names for finalburn neo:

You have to "scrap" your romset

Well i did scrape the games with the internal screenscraper as I wrote.
I don´t get what you are trying to say

    • Screenscraper wrong game names for finalburn neo

Finalburn Neo Roms are detected well by the screenscraper, but one thing is bad:
The game names are the short version, the same as the zip is called.
Like FINALB instead of "Final Blow" or MARINEB for "Marine Boy".
Why is that and how can I fix it?
      Thanks!
