      Hello everyone,

      I would like to use scummvm to run Myst Masterpiece edition on recalbox 4.1. Running this type of games requires the UNSTABLE version of scummvm available through daily buildbot here :
      https://www.scummvm.org/downloads/#daily

      Is there a simple way to switch to the unstable version of scummvm on recalbox 4.1 ?

      Thanks in advance for your help !

        Hello @chris256
        Recalbox 4 1 is not availible. Wait stable version.

          Hello @acris
          Thanks for your answer. In fact I currently use the 4.1 unstable version. I guess that the future stable 4.1 version will still use the stable version of scummvm. My question was about the possibility to use the unstable version of scummvm (link given above).
          I hope I made myself clearer.

            @chris256

            There are tutorials on how to contribute to recalbox, how to compile recalbox. If you're a dev, you should be able to understand and go through it.

            https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Compilation-&-Modifications-(EN)

            But as you should already know, recalbox is a full os, not using raspbian etc., and built from scratch. And the recalbox team always ship a full os, not just some abitrary binaries.

            Short answer: No, there is no "simple" way 😉

              And the 4.1 is frozen so we won't b*mp an emulator just before the stable release.
              Will be done later with an other version.

                Thank you @rockaddicted and @abunille for your answers. I do not have the knowledge to compile recalbox by myself. For a later version of recalbox (later than 4.1), it would be a good news if scummvm unstable could be included.

                Anyways, thank you for this excellent work !
