[4.1-Unstable] Bug reports
-
@Substring new possible bug on scummvm, can't launch any game =>
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 1024, in _execute_child
raise child_exception
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory -
seems /usr/bin/scummvm is missing, fixed by adding the libretro core
-
@grgohr i believe the standalone scummvm doesn't compile on xu4. If the libretro core works fine, and doesn't require any change to the roms scummvm structure, or configgen, please make a pr to update the xu4 defconfig
-
@Substring after more tests i can't use the libretro core (can't crawl the folders to look for game)
I was able to run standalone scummvm on xu4 flawlessly on my previous build but I can't remember what i did and where I got it
will search again -
Hello Folks
One question. Since I upgraded to 4.1, in my rpi 3, Kodi is crashing all time no matter the build I have installed. Is anybody facing any kind of similar issues?
THX
-
@kelv definitrly no problem at all. Is it a vanilla install or you added some plugins ?
-
@Substring I have the pluggings that were isntalled before in the 15 release. I was wondering if the issue could be because of that, I will delete all of them and re-add them. THX!!!

Hi! I have a problem connecting through wifi on rpi3. I was using the unstable version, but after a restart it won't connect anymore.
After checking the password, it shows some random numbers and letters before the correct password. Even when I re-type it correctly.
What can I do to fix wifi? Via ethernet it still works, but can't use it all the time.
-
@Raphael-Bueno-Hatencia Just got it working!
I put the same wifi name and password on recalbox.conf on share and share_init, don't know why, but that did the job.
-
The last unstable recalbox version embeds :
- create missing rom folders
- automatic umdate of the recalbox.conf
- better bluetooth connectivity
- new ES languages
- update configgen for retroarch (yellow squares)
- PSX core b*mp to enable the sony logo + disable rumbling
-
@Substring Hi. Still having massive psx issues here. I'm running the latest update on a pi3. Psx is not playable. Was nice and smooth before, even with enhanced resolution.
I notice that frame skip is set to 3 under quick menu/options changing that and deactivating enhanced resolution doesn't help much though - besides that wouldn't be a solution
-
@treacle what do you mean "unplayable" ?
-
@treacle games psx ? Exemple ? Rewind disabled ?
-
@Substring with unplayable I mean it's so slow. Emulation works though. Screen size is not filling my tv either. And the scanlines look odd too.
Rewind is disabled, and was before too
-
@treacle I'd say there's a problem on your side for sure ... @rockaddicted b*mped the core, he tested it, and reported no sluggishness
-
@Substring ok... any idea what the problem could be? Didn't change any configs. Been on 4.1.0 unstable since 4.0.1
-
Yep I didn't notice significant slowdown during my tests. I only launched few games for testiing post b*mp and post patch about rumble.
@treacle do you have this issue with all your games ? Can you give us some examples ?
-
@rockaddicted I only tried two or three games. Crash bandicoot, castlevania. All running perfect before. Oh, and when I enter the (new xmb) retroarch menu, all icons are black squares
-
@treacle you can't have updated to the last unstable : squares and xmb (switched back t rgui) are solved. Unless you usensome custom configs ?
For the missing icins, just download retroarch assets

@Substring hmm, checked for updates about 2 hours ago, and it said there are none available
