Emulate a raspberry pi 0 to run in windows
-
Hi Guys,
I wonder if it is somehow possible to install some kind of emulator on a windows system (Simulating to be a pi0 e.g.) and start recalbox from sd card in this emulator and set everything up.
Is there some kind of software that can do this? It would make life much easier doing the first install etc.
Best regards, Toni

I don't really see how it would be easier, quite the contrary... Anyway you would be emulating consoles on a pi 0 itself emulated, it would be veryyyyyy slooooooooowwww unplayable

What's the point of doing that?
If you want to run recalbox on a pc take a look at this:

I thought I could set up my recalbox directly in Windows instead of using my pi0.everything would be ready to go then.

I'll give you the REAL answer : you can emulate an piB at least in windows (and it is awfully sluggish). But you won't have any "display" but console. Don't expect to run emulatiostation ...
