N64 freeze

Hey guys sometimes i face the problem that the n64 emulator freezes. It then runs with 1 or 2 fps. All that helps is reset it with the hotkey and restart the game. It very often happens while playing mariokart with some friends. Do you have any tips on how to solve this issue ? (rpi 3)

Do you get a rainbow colored square in the corner? That would mean you power supply isn't good enough.

Same issue here, any help would be appreciated!
I use official raspberry power supply, so I doubt this is the reason ...

@viewww Actually it does not matter which power supply you use. If you see a rainbow square in the top right corner your Raspi needs more power
