Custom GPIO Pin Config

Hi. I have also been trying to use custom GPIO pin configs in Recalbox with no success. I'm trying to use the map=5 GPIO=20,23,9,etc command and it crashes recalbox. I think it might be because the mk arcade joystick package in recalbox is not the latest one. Does anybody know how to update it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Custom pins are not implemented in recalbox as far as i remember.

Has this feature been implemented yet? I have tried every config I can and it isn't loading with the custom pin config.
I would prefer not to have to get out my soldering iron

As @Substring said, in RB 4.0 the custom pin config is not yet implemented. You'll need to recompile the mk_arcade_joystick_hotkey module in its last release to get this feature.
