      Hi Everyone

Recently I bought a Waveshare WM8960 device in order to have sound in my recalbox system. Recalbox documentation recomends this way to have sound in speakers because it is a hat that you connect in your raspberry (in my case raspberry 2B) and its very easy to use.
The thing is that when I follow the instructions that documentaiton says (just to add some lines to file /boot/config.txt) the device seems to be detected in my recalbox but the sound doesn't work (even in the earphone which is included in this "hat").

Have you ever dealt with this? Any recommendations?

I tried to reconfigure the sound with alsamixer but the problem persists.

      Thank a lot

PD: by the way I update the system to the last version

@zing I did it and I followed every step they mention (that's the reason I tried with alsamixer) but I'm having the same result. Anyway the version of this case is 7.1.1 and I am using the current stable 7.2.1. Maybe this has something to do? Is there anyway to download the 7.1.1 recalbox version?

PD: sorry for the "spam". I thought that writing in different languages wasn't considered as spam, my fault @Zing

No, only the latest official version is available.

Maybe this has something to do?

I don't have this hardware, so I can't test it, and apparently few people have it, so there aren't many related topics, and the ones that do exist are older ...

Unfortunately, I don't know how to help anymore. What you can do is open an issue:
