OFFICIAL RECALBOX THEME - WE NEED YOU

Hello all, Here is my finished Spectrum ZX set and uploaded to the repo. I added the cartridge, I think this is going to be the better option as the tape since the ZX81 had no such thing as a cartridge (as far as I can tell) and so the two have different storage media. Any input will be very welcome. Thanks. P.S: The logo is of course complete, but white on white is a tiny bit hard to make out, I guess.

And here is the ZX81. Again the key labels were left out so it would not look like a messy goop when scaled down for the theme. Inputs are more than welcome. Cheers.

@zarroun I think both look very nice! But I kind of miss the labels... I think it surely would look messy on a CRT, but otherwise  not. Anyway, thanks for your contribution!

Bonjour je suis infographiste de métier et si ça vous intéresse et qu'il n'est pas trop tard je veux bien contribuer au design du thème. Sinon une autre fois peut être.

@zarroun thanks for your work, great job! I didn't receive pull request from you on the main recalbox-themes repository. So I checked your fork, and if we look the @reivaax tuto, page 4, you done the step 14 of it. So now, you have to do the same thing that before to add ZX81 files, then, the step 16 to push ZX-Spectrum + ZX81 files to the main recalbox-themes repo. @gyux Merci pour la proposition c'est cool Si tu regarde le fichier de suivi, il reste les systèmes MSX à faire (un MSX général regroupant MSX 1/2/2+) puis un MSX 1 et un MSX 2/2+ pour les utilisateurs voulant splitter les 2 machines sous ES. Si tu es motivé, on te donne les droit d'édition du fichier de suivi, et tu t'assignes à ces système. Redis nous.

Hi all, Here's my WIP of the 600. Does anyone by any chance have a clue as to what font they could have used for the labels on the keys? I spent quite some time searching, but I just don't think it will do the console justice if we use the wrong type on it. Thanks for the input.

@Zarroun, It's not a big deal if you doesn't find the exact font of the keys... And for me, in flat design, it's not necessary to had the keys labels. Juste with the colors and material design, it's easy to <span id="result_box" class="short_text" lang="en"><span class="">recognize</span></span> atari 600. ;).  Make has you can and it would be perfect ! :). Tank's a lot.

Bonjour à tous je suis entrain de tester le thème recabox et bravo à tous pour la fluidité , il y a vraiment une amélioration par rapport à l'ancien thème. d apres le document , @reivaax se serait occuper du logo fba libretro. sur ma tv 4k le logo ne rend pas trop bien - le remplissage de la lettre b on dirait un gros point gris et ma tv n est pas trop loin de moi ça serait mieux sans. le dessus de la lettre F ça fait un escalier sur le contour, je pense qu il manquerait peut etre un peu d epaisseur à ce trait de contour ça fait un peu bizzare car on dirait qu il y a un problème. https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-themes/blob/master/themes/recalbox/fba_libretro/data/logo.svg ça fait drôle d avoir la liste de jeux à gauche à la place de droite quand le scrap est présent, faut s y habituer. Le thème est excellent bravo aux graphistes

I translated @Acris comment to understand, and wanted to help a little bit. I found an image on internet for the fba logo and converted it to SVG, but couldn't finished the top. I suppose a designer can do it within a minute. So here is the svg for anyone that want to improve the logo. Nice work @paradadf, I vectorised this logo after a looooong long time of no working on illustrator ^^. Now i have more experience but it's good idea to remake it :). A see your pull in github, no problem for export it on svg files ;).

Quelle agréable surprise de découvrir le nouveau thème après avoir fait la MàJ hier soir ! Rapide, beau, de gros artworks pour chaque jeux, musiques sympas (sauf Tetris au piano qui me donne des envies de suicide LOL), et surtout qui cadre parfaitement sur mon écran 5/4 1280*1024 (juste les infos dans la description quelque peu tronquées mais compréhensibles). Un grand bravo, manque plus qu'une rubrique "crédits" pour remercier tous les participants de Recalbox !

Thanks @paradadf i'll try soon. Il manque un "effet" sur certains logos. Quand on passe par exemple sur les logos mame, neogeo, on a un effet grossissant quand le logo du thème est séléctionné. Cet effet n'est pas retrouvé sur les logos (de mémoire( fba libretro, pcengine, pcengineCD et peut etre quelques d'autres je vérifierai)

The new Theme is fantastic!!! Also the first theme, where I love the sliding animations between menus. I found the Atari 7800 Sub-Theme in GIT by myself, since it was not included in the b3 update.   Question: Is anyone already working on a VEXTREX sub-theme?   Greetings, Dan

Merci à tout les contributeurs pour ce theme. On a ajouté vos pseudos sur le readme du theme. Bon il est pas terminé on compte sur vous et on va l'améliorer au fur et à mesure, mais au moins, ça nous permet de le tester à plus grande échelle et pour le moment, les retours sont plutôt très positifs donc merci à tous ! :). Par contre juste une petite questions les amis, est-il possible d'avoir les images ( pochettes ou screenshot ) au format png et non Jpeg. car j'ai toutes la néogeo, snes, md, gbc,gba,gb,ms,2600,cps1,cps2,cps3 & je bosses sur la mame actuellement dans le style ( ci joint ) et j'aimerais les intrégrer au theme recalbox par contre refaire tout en jpg c'est un gros boulot ( car plus de transparence et du coup obligé de créer un arrrière plan de la couleur du cadre info de la recalbox. Oui ES supporte les png mais ce que tu propose n'a rien à voir avec le theme, c'est du scrape

ben en fait si pour les images du scrappe le png est possible alors j'ai pas besoin de refaire l'image avec arrière plan suivant le theme puisqu'elle seront transparente voila   sinon comment je gère mes image en png pour le scrape ( dans le dossier  /roms/neogeo/downloaded_images/ ) si je met un kof96-image.png a la place d'un kof96-image. jpg  il n'est pas reconnu Ou puis je gere ça  ??? merci
