[GPi Case] Recalbox 6.1 Beta 4 (pre-release) - New Public Beta!
-
Hello! I have a doubt regarding the pifa romset version. In this post, I can read "you have PiFBA an ARM optimized FBA version that require a 0.2.96.37 romset." But, in the original sources of PiFBA, you can read that the required version is 0.2.96.71 (In think both versions based on the 0.114 MAME version). My question is... is it a typo?
Thank you so much and congratulations for this realease!
-
I have the same doubt, the correct version is 0.2.96.37 or 0.2.96.41??? please have someone take us out of doubt
Thank you

FBA 0.2.96.71 as indicated in the documentation...

Hi!!!
Testing the FBNeo emulator (FB Alpha v0.2.97.44) I've noticed a bug, when you run a game, it goes directly back to the game list. For it to work and execute the roms it is necessary to modify the following:
Menu > Advance settings > Advanced emulator configuration > FinalBurn Alpha >
It is necessary to change this "DEFAULT" for this "LIBRETRO" and "DEFAULT" for "FBNEO", and now the roms work.
On the other hand, is it normal that imame4all emulator (mame 2000) to go so slow? in retropie the same emulator works fine (for example king of dragons rom - kod.zip) :S
Thanks!!!!

Should this build refresh games list automatically or is there a way to refresh it manually? I've added some games, but do not see them on the list of games available to play.
-
@bishop to refresh it manually, in the system gamelist menu, press start. The last option is UPDATE GAMES LIST.
-
@amzg by some reason it doesn't work
-
@bishop that means you haven‘t added any rom with supported rom extension files. Check the _readme.txt inside every system folder to know which ones are accepted.
-
@bishop I think paradadf is in the right way..... maybe rom extension.... .7z? it happened to me XDD
-
Is there any way to have Daphne running? Seems like to be well performing in super retropie image. Duke3D too. Any chance to have this in future releases working for Gpi case?
-
Beta 2 available in the first post. Changelog also available in the first post.
-
Looks like the link of beta 2 is down.
-
Beta 2 still crashes when I try to connect to Wi-Fi.
-
@bishop i had the same issue. I changed the sd card, i changed the OS to Retropie and nothing worked. Finally i bought a new raspberry pi and now everything is fine ;-).

Hi, Im using Recalbox 6.1 Beta 2 with my GPi Case and I have sound issues during gba emulation. I cant find much settings to try several things... how can I fix it?
-
@condemned87 what kind of sound issues? Which core? Have you changed other cores to try?
-
Is this beta release only for the GPI case? Or will it work for any device? If not, is there a release to test the 6.1 beta on other devices i.e. RPI3?
It looks quite awesome, I just don't have a GPI case If not, no worries, I will wait -- no rush to developers. Just came from long-time use of RetroPie, and heard RecalBox was better. Been using it for almost 2 weeks and loving it. So much better!
Anyway, thanks!
