x86/64 wont run anything
-
Hi guys, I was hoping to use recalbox on my mac mini. Both the 32 and 64 bit versions boot fine, but when I try to launch a game the system freezes. It seems to be at the moment which ever emulator loads as with some games I get a white/grey screen and a quick sound (less than 1 second) then nothing, the computer becomes unresponsive.
I have set it up simply by burning the x64/32 image to a USB stick and booting from it.
I have not tested any games other than the bundled ones so I assume the quality of those is not an issue.Can anyone offer any advice on this situation?
Thanks.

@spinal_cord could you tell us more about your hardware ?
-
@gaetan sure,
2011 mac mini
2.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5
8GB DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 3000using build 18.07.13 (current latest version), both 32bit and 64bit have the same issue.
The interface runs fine, bluetooth controller has no issues, music works through both the internal speaker and hdmi.

No ideas at all?
Oh well, guess I keep looking for a different emulation OS then. -
@spinal_cord you should try the beta version, it's more compatible.
You can find it on the first page of the forum -
I seem to have got emulators to load, but I have no controls once they loaded, neither bt controller or usb keyboard.

@spinal_cord
did you remap your controller via the controller settings? even if they work out-of-the-box you first (and only once) have to configure the mapping for all buttons. Then the controller should work in emulators too -
Yes,I had to config the controller in the settings. No controls at all work in the emulated games, not the controller (8bitdo sf30pro) orkayboard.

@spinal_cord when you map your controller, are you sure that R2 is not put on Axis 2 ?
Also, try with a usb controller please
