@rcp As Roms e os gamelist.xml não podem interferir, nem mesmo os saves, apenas poderia ser um problema se você tentasse aproveitar um arquivo de configuração que seja de uma versão anterior.
Eu não tenho certeza do que aconteceu, mas eu tentaria fazer uma instalação limpa com a última versão, e copiaria apenas uma ROM de cada sistema que você alega ter problemas, e faria um teste. Se com apenas uma ROM funcionar, isso significa que você está tentando usar um arquivo de configuração de uma versão anterior, mesmo que sem intenção, e por isso está tendo problemas.

Roms and gamelist.xml can not interfere, not even saves, could only be a problem if you tried to take advantage of a configuration file that is from an earlier version.
I'm not sure what happened, but I would try to do a clean installation with the latest version, and I would copy only one ROM from each system that you claim to have problems, and test it. If only one ROM works, it means that you are trying to use a configuration file from an earlier version, even unintentionally, and is therefore having problems.

Really love Recalbox! It's definitely the best retro gaming system out there! I updated recently on two systems and had no problems. One system is unable to add Bluetooth controllers, but on that system I am using the Kintaro Super Kuma 9000 case image, which may be the problem. I was also wondering about Kodi. I searched and the only thing I found was that Kodi would be updated when buildroot updates it. xxxxxxxxx), which also runs off of buildroot has updated their system to Kodi 17.6, so I was wondering if there was any chance that it would also be coming to Recalbox. Currently, I just leave Kodi turned off because I ran into an issue with the YouTube add-on constanly asking to launch the setup wizard. Thanks!! Great Work!!

Go to Main Menu, "Controller Settings", "Configure a Controller", do the Button Mapping for your Controller.

Thank you very much for the hard work. Just one question, What Kodi version Recalbox using now? I want to migrate my Kodi to Recalbox, but Addon for TheTVDB.com doesn't work anymore in version 16, it require version 17.

I have a problem with this 18.07.13 release, almost all cores get blackscreen but the games run and have sound.
I found a simple fix but its a bug: Go to main menu, inside "game settings" and select some shader.
This seems to fix glupen64/mupen/neogeo,etc but not fba like cp1/cps2/cp3 steal blackscreen with sound.
If i set shaders none almost no game work... my god thats why i always fear to update.

Well i found a way, set shader with scanlines or retro, but up some neogeo game and change the game in the retroarch menu with the load content.
With this work around i can get any cps game to work, i simple cant start cps by its on with this build.
Lets just wait for another update to see if fix the need of shader and this blackscreens.

Pi3, i try change themes for default "recalbox" and nothing changes.
After update the overclock goes 1300 to 1200 so i can say a tested with and without, same results.
My last update was 1 plus the one with christmas intro and everything works until now.

Now i got almost all core blackscreen until a set a global shader in the ES main menu.
Try put shader = none and see if u can play neogeo or other games.

What u mean when u ask me about "screen" ?
What make me mad is the fact that anyone here doenst report this bad behavier, i always look about the update before in fact update.
What i read was about the select button and the coin in arcades, but was fix in this release. Something about the n64 blackscreen, but the problem about blackscreen its something more.
Do u know if its possible to downgrade?
This 18.07.13 should not be in the stable updates, at max on the instable, but for me it should have been more work on it.

Im not a linux expert, but i suspect the problem is on some ".sh" scripts, in the launch of the retroarch core and contets line from the EmuStation.
The proof is that i can open and play content of fba that is not loading properly directly from Emustation resulting blackscreen, when i open inside the retroarch.

If i ask you details about your screen, is that I suspect that the delay added after resolution change could be too short. That's somethibg we had to deal with about a year ago with a pi firmware change

Humm the change in resolutions humm... i use a samsung model 6 not the best for games, i set my hdmi for pc to get the best of input lag i can get, its somewhere between 40 and 50 ms lag.
But i think input lag has nothing to do in the change of resolutions.
So you suspect that when i set some shader in the ES when i launch a game i get more milliseconds to open a game or get a extra pass thats why i got some games to launch properly. Hum make sence...
Do you know a way that i can put a thered sleep of 100ms or something to test?

Sub i now managed to fix all the blackscreen in all cores and was a simple fix.

In the recalbox.conf just comment this line with a "#" :

Set gpslp shader for all emulators (prefer shadersets above). Absolute path (string)

#global.shaders= one

I mess with resolution like u tell but nothing fix the problem, so a left global.shaderset=none , thats cause blackscreen in almost all cores, but when i set global.shaders= with absolute path all cores work perfect.

But i cant do that becouse the compatibility issues with some cores like psx that get slows down, so u just need to comment this line and without no shaders no more bug.

Forget it, its works until i reboot... something reallly messed up and change behavier when mess with shaders.
Its a lost of time trying to discover a work around, just wait another release.
Put retro or scanline load some core and content and be happy to play cps1 this way for now.

I tryed the tag "nes.shaderset" but does nothing, when i put global.shaders=/recalbox/share_init/shaders/crt-caligari.glslp all core works ok, but psx geting really low speed.
If i discover a way to make him exclusive whitout a shader, maybe override the core whith no shader is possible but i dont know it can override a empty shader.

Tried override core but doesnt override shaders, but if i dont put any shader i get blackscreen on psx anyway damed!
I found another bug, final burn alpha now has only (fba2x) core ? Thats why i can only play some games loading content after playing a neogeo game.
The fix is to move to fba_libretro folder, but i dont know it will get fix on the next releases or its right and fba should only have fba2x and libetro has fba core.
Anyway, cant play almost nothing if a dont put the scaline or retro shader.
If no shader blackscreen with the game runing with sound in background.
Lost bluetooth battery indicator too, before update it worked and i liked.

@abilaunken fba and fba2x have always been 2 different systems as their romset are totally différent
