Happens with all systems installed, use Emulationstation on windows. PS. Also it ignores text case (always uses "as is" insted of lower case or uppercase.

Tried both versions on my Win10 64bit system. Both came up with "Games found: 0" on any system. Triple checked the right folders.

There is a little bug on the latests version,

when used through mono on linux, the gamelist are saved on the roms directory and not inside the system roms directory under the filename "system\gamelist.xml"

Sorry...I would post this in the Batocera forum but I do not see a thread for Skraper there.

Is it possible to add an option to 'Append existing gamelist' (rather than overwrite or update)? Currently, if I set a rom to use a particular emulator (or core), that info is written to the gamelist.xml file. If I then rescrape a system using Skraper, those changes are lost (even if I have it set to 'backup then update').

Essentially, if a game is already in the XML when you scrape, just pass it over. If the game is not already there, scrape it and append it to the bottom.

@johnodon there is an option for that, just check the configurations tabs.

@paradadf Unless it is somwhere else and I am missing it, the only options I see on the 'Game List' tab are:

• No backup, just update existing
• Backup existing, then create new
• No backup, create new or overwrite existing
• Backup existing, then update

In my experience, each of the above causes existing metadata that was written to the XML by other means (i.e. 'Edit this game's metadata') to be overwritten.

Am I missing something?

@johnodon the first or the forth, depending on what you want. “Update” is the keyword.

Is there a way to change the "Global root folder" so I can run a scrape for ALL SYSTEMS with that altered path? I often play around with multiple boxes at the same time so I like to give them different names, RECALBOX2 etc. The only way I can see to get around this (other than renaming the boxes) is to go into each system change the path and scrape one at a time starting each manually.

Hi, a little question concerning Skaper. I'm using beta 7.
I recently installed Recalbox6 RC2. I put 2 games (both with a .bin & .cue extensions) in the MegaCD folder. I saw only 2 games in the MegaCD system, even if there were 4 files. Normal. I used the scraper and it scrapped both of the games. But now, 4 files are the MegaCD system (2 are scrapped, 2 are not). Is there a way to scrap a game and to keep hidden the .cue file ? (i know i can hide the file under ES menu if necessary).

@scavy adjust the scraped file extensions in the appropriate tab
You can remove the "cue" extention from the list

@Bkg2k J'ai enlevé l'extension cue de la liste dans l'onglet"jeux et rom" : résultat skraper se trompe scrape final fight cd avec les infos de point blank sur psx ! Par contre, quand je remets les extensions cue et bin, il passe correctement. J'ai essayé en enlevant le bin et en laissant le cue, mais pas mieux.
J'ai testé avec Universal XML Scraper, il passe sans se tromper mais j'aime moins sa finition...
Autr chose, j'ai fait un eboot PSX de Legend of Dragoon. Testé en jeu, il fonctionne. Skraper l'a trouvé, créé les sous-dossiers media et stockés les images, fais la gamelist, mais aucune image à l'écran de l'ES. Ca me l'a déjà fait sur d'autres systèmes. Est ce du à quelque chose en particulier ?

@elgregou salut, je te réponds ici, c'est dédié à Skraper. Je n'ai pas encore testé, mais à mon avis on doit pouvoir choisir de scraper juste une rom ou plusieurs sans repasser l'ensemble du système à la moulinette ^^

@scavy Merci. J'avais regardé vite fait mais n'avais pas trouvé l'option. Cela dit, cela m'étonnerait aussi beaucoup qu'elle ne soit pas disponible. Je me pencherai dessus un peu plus intensément dès que j'aurai un moment.

Le probleme "point blank", du a un changement d'API coté ScreenScraper est réparé depuis longtemps.

Pfff décidemment, 2 jeux pour tester en SegaCD et c'est la cata. Maintenant, il trouve Dune et pas Final Fight lol Mais au moins Point Blank n'est plus la. J'ai noté un truc : quand on supprime le dossier media et la gamelist, puis en rebootant la recalbox (proprement), il arrive que le fichier gamelist.xml ré-apparaisse (le dossier media ne revient pas lui).
Pour la PSX pareil, il ne trouve pas Legend of Dragoon alors qu'il le trouvait avant mais il ne s'affichait pas.

seems that you reached the limit of requests per day.
With no validated participations the limit is 10.000 requests/day.

En ce qui me concerne, j'aimerais bien tester skraper mais chaque tentative de configuration se termine avec ce message d'erreur de Net.Framework! et cela sur mes deux ordinateurs (windows 10 64bits) mis à jour avec la dernière version du Framework (4.7 et des poussières).
J'ai essayer de trouver des infos là dessus sur forum de screenscraper mais accéder au forum en question semble au delà de mes compétences. Je clique sur forum sur leur site et rien ne s'ouvre, donc je me rabats sur ce post.

Auriez vous une idée pour régler ça ?
