PSP not showing up?
-
Hi,
So I recently updated the recalbox to the newest version.
I tried putting psp roms in the psp folder but the psp section is not showing up.
I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong here, I tried both .cso and .iso, but still nothing showing up.

Hello @BlackAzrael
only rpi3, ordoid or x86 for psp

I have the RPI3, when I tried it in 4.1 unstable it showed up.

@blackazrael Hi, can you make a support archive ? Go to the web interface with your browser, support section, make a support archive, and paste the link here.
-
Ok, I think that's what you mean?
-
@blackazrael ok nothing seems to be wrong.
Please check that your roms are in ".cso/.iso/.pbp" format in the psp folder and reboot.

Haha I actually fixed it, the psp system wasn't showing in es_systems.cfg since I kept my old custom one.
Showing up fine now!
I do have other questions though.
- Is there any performance advantages between .iso and .cso for psp?
- The N64 emulator only shows a limited square, like say it was set to 640x480, it only covers that much of the 1080p TV and the rest is black
- Are there optimized settings for the PSP?
Thanks!

No idea, to be honnest. Anyway emulators also emulate the access speed to disk devices most o times (not sure abt ppsspp though)

That's a tv setting problem, it should resize to 640x480 tonfill the screen

Give a try to multi processing and auto frameskip
