Haha I actually fixed it, the psp system wasn't showing in es_systems.cfg since I kept my old custom one.

Showing up fine now!

I do have other questions though.

1. Is there any performance advantages between .iso and .cso for psp?
2. The N64 emulator only shows a limited square, like say it was set to 640x480, it only covers that much of the 1080p TV and the rest is black
3. Are there optimized settings for the PSP?

So I recently updated the recalbox to the newest version.

I tried putting psp roms in the psp folder but the psp section is not showing up.

I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong here, I tried both .cso and .iso, but still nothing showing up.

I just updated to the newest version today and now I get yellow squares instead of writing in retroarch (when saving, loading states, etc)

I tried fixing by adding video_font_path line in bug section, removing cfg file from /config/retroarch and none of these solutions are working.

I want to move back my config files but I can't even do that now! It says I don't have enough room when I clearly do.

Hi,

Every game that I have tried seems to be working just fine until I tried Warriors of Might and Magic for PSX.

It seems like everytime I advance through a new area, fight enemies, sometimes even randomly, I am getting some major slowdowns/hiccups.

The game will just seemingly stop for a good 5 seconds then slowly work again.

The FPS still shows up as constant 59-60 and I have the RPI3 with good cooling so I'm not sure what I can do to help with that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

@Substring Alright it works that way thanks a lot to both of you! Though it's weird that in 4.1 unstable I could modify it from the share/roms folder directly without much problems. Is that a feature the devs are looking to do in 4.1 then?

So I've been trying to modify the d**n gamelist.xml for the psx games but everytime I make a manual change it just reverts back to what it was. Universal XML Scraper works fine but I want my game names to be specific and it doesn't help when there's multiple discs for certain games.

Even tried killing emulstation with the Universal XML Scraper program in the SSH tab, then modifying the xml list. When I reboot nothing changes.

So then I tried just renaming the bin and cue files for every game and then just using the filename option for the scraper, and now only some of them will launch for some reason.

Seriously, I don't mean to take it out on anyone here, but this is getting pretty darn frustrating at this point, like what am I supposed to do exactly, what am I missing here?

Well I did try the most recent stable version and the option is still here in psx, it just doesn't appear in the reteoarch menu in 4.1 unstable.

Would there be any way at all to make the option appear on the unstable version?
