I had to re-control everything, the wiring file had nothing to do with the received Xin-mo (commissioned in February 2019)! I create my own file for.. do not forget! 0_1560442540033_Xin motek 2019.png
Done some more research and have discovered that the joystick set i bought (ultracabs in UK) are Xin Mo controls. This page describes how they should be wired : https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Xin-mo-(EN)
