Wirh your usb plugged in, you can use the file manager from within kodi as well and have an interface.

Another option could be to use a live cd with any linux distribution, like ubuntu.

@soldiergomez Hasta donde yo conozco las versiones actuales de recalbox todavía no soportan el arranque desde disco duro interno.
Creo que si lo instalas en el hd como medio externo mediante una caja usb o un dock luego se le puede hacer arrancar, busca por youtube hay varios videos al respecto.

Aha yes it is a M.2 SSD you guessed it, I have the adapter but wasn't sure it would have been faster than a 1:1 copy, well anyway, thanks a lot again for both your answers and your work, switching from a rp3 to a Nuc i3 seems very smooth for now ! Keep up the good work 🙂
