There was a bug in the hiscore system of fba libretro, i fixed it ~10 days ago. I don't know what version of fba libretro the last release of recalbox is using.
If you got any .hi files generated from a buggy version of fba libretro in the folder where you store the hiscore.dat, you must delete them.

The file (hiscore.dat) is still needed under a fba subfolder of your retroarch system folder (which should be the one where you store bioses), recent releases of fba should support both old and new format of hiscore.dat.

      • Kronos (Sega Saturn/ST-V)
      • YabaSanshiro (Sega Saturn)
      • Reicast Flycast (Dreamcast/Naomi/AtomisWave)

@barbudreadmon we're not using the standard RA paths in .config 😉 but i guess it should be with bios

Yes, under a folder named fba, not fba_libretro, except if you symlinked fba_libretro to fba

@iggy2 As i told in my first post, you have the old fba libretro version with the bug, you must update it.

To update you replace the FB Alpha v0.2.97.42 DAT file?

@iggy2 You don't update a software by replacing a text file. I don't know how you update cores on recalbox, perhaps through emulationstation or retroarch's menu ? You should ask someone knowledgable about it like @Substring

Recompile the core yourself, or wait for a recalbox update
