[4.1-Unstable] Bug reports

@RustyMG We are not the authors of the PSP emulator, so most of times, we can't do anything other than point you to guides helping to optimize PPSSPP. In some cases, turning multithread on does help for emulation. But remember you're running a pi3, it can't do miracles regarding emulation.

@jackalpret once you update, the changelog is dynamic since 4.1
-
@acris thanks ! i saw it 10 seconds ago haha.
is this the correct link to download ?
https://archive.recalbox.com/updates/v1.0/unstable/there are updates to PC version ? or only to rpi3 ?
-
@jackalpret most of them are fixes, i guess the main one being the configuration of PSP. We're aiming for a stable release, so don't expect new features until we start working on 4.2
You just update through usual ways
-
@Substring i'm using 4.1 pc version and it works very well (previous unstable version)

PPSSPP emulator works now, but no sound in EmulationStation, only sounds the initial video, after that no sound in any game...
-
Go to emulationstation > sound options > hdmi or other.
-
@Dwarf You'd need to explain more : is your sound output set to auto ? hdmi ? or a USB key ? Where do you expect sound to come from ?
-
@substring Since this latest update, I also lose sound after the intro video. I must toggle sound output between Auto and Jack or vice versa to bring it back. I have to do this on every bootup. Also the volume bar also changes, ie. might be 95 , then 97 on next boot.
-
@eclipse16g the volume indicator has always been moving on its own ...
regarding the sound, what is your usual audio output ? -
@substring I use the audio jack output, and I didn't notice the volume indicator moving before this last update, but I had no reason to go into the sound menu before either. This only happens with full shutdown or reboot. If I stop and start emulation station, the sound still works fine.
-
@eclipse16g mind making me a support archive with http://recalbox/help ? (add .local to recalbox if you're on linux/mac)

@RustyMG for the AppleII problems ... well, on the big job that rewriting the generation of the es_system.cfg, there were a few mistakes See by yourself :
<system> <fullname>Apple II</fullname> <name>apple2</name> <path>/recalbox/share/roms/apple2</path> <extension>.iso .ISO .gc .GC .gcz .GCZ</extension> <command>python /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/configgen/emulatorlauncher.pyc %CONTROLLERSCONFIG% -system %SYSTEM% -rom %ROM% -emulator %EMULATOR% -core %CORE% -ratio %RATIO%</command> <platform>apple2</platform> <theme>apple2</theme> <emulators/> </system> <system>
Extensions should be
.nib .NIB .do .DO .po .PO .dsk .DSK

@Substring sorry, i'm on vacations and can't confirm right now, i think audio is set to auto, and the speakers are plugged via jack to the raspberry pi 3. Sound works great til the update. I will return home next week and run more tests.

@Dwarf I should be able to diagnose with just your
~/logs/recalbox.log
