ok thank you......I have another RPI2, I can to transfer my RPI1 SD card to RPI2 uSD card? There is a wiki/guide? thanks
-
I installed recalbox of my rpi2 B and always the same problem. I overclocked at high 1050Mhz and my n64 screen is 640*480 : n64.videomode=DMT 4 HDMI
what am i doing? thanks -
You can't use the image of a RPi1 with other Raspberry Pis than the RPi1.
There are tons of threads about all the things you need to be aware about n64. Video, Controllers, roms, everything! Have you tried using the search function of the forum? And looking into the wiki? -
@paradadf I installed recalbox properly, with dual boot rasbpian, not with migrating rpi1 to rpi2
yes i searched of this forum with n64 tag but i don't find a solution -
@33ced I got that with your second message. I just wanted to leave a record if anyone reads your post and thinks they can do it.
Well, search better, please And the wiki has also information about it. -
excuse me, but i searched all the site with n64 tag and i can't resolve my problem.
I launch mario kart (E) V1.1 (and others) and come back immediately to ES.....please help me -
@33ced please SSH to your recalbox, type
/etc/init.d/S31emulationstation restart
, launch a N64 game and please paste here the that is displayed when crashing. -
Assuming you have everything with default values...
- Your n64 roms can only have one these extension (no compression!): .n64, .v64, .z64
https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-buildroot/blob/rb-4.1.X/board/recalbox/fsoverlay/recalbox/share_init/roms/n64/_readme.txt - You must configure L and R buttons on you controller.
What kind of controller are you trying to use?
Usually, if the problem is with your controller, disconnecting ALL controllers and launching a n64 rom with the keyboard should successfully boot the game. If that does work, point #3 is irrelevant. - The default resolution might no be compatible with your TV, check:
https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/N64-:-return-to-ES-(EN)
- Your n64 roms can only have one these extension (no compression!): .n64, .v64, .z64

-
Are you trying to play n64 with NES pads? Really?
...
The recalbox team kindly presents... the original n64 gamepad!!!

@paradadf
then problem with my pad :
because I remove this controller, and with the keyboard, i can play, it's ok.
it's the configgen, I must configure my controller in which file ? thanks
-
HOW IN THIS LOVING WORLD do you plan to use a NES pad for n64??? WHAT do you want to configure?
-
OK i use this controller because i have this, and i would like play only with 4-5 N64 games.
I cannot with this controller or i can modify a script, a cfg file for mupenControllers? thanks -
For n64 you need a gamepad with more buttons like psx or xbox360 gamepad. It's not possible with a NES gamepad.
-
You can not play N64 with a NES pad. How do you want to play on a controler that has 1 dpaf, 1 analogue stick, 10 buttons on a pad that is 30% of what is expected ? You can't.
This problem will be the same with megadrive, PSX and many more emulators ...
-
OK I see....and with which controller i can play of most of emulator (for example sees controller or n64 gamepad, it's ok for psx, n64 .....)? thanks
-

@acris you can never have enough buttons!
