There's no N64 emulator. Where's the guide for enabling/installing it?

please add roms in /recalbox/share/roms/n64 and reboot your raspberry -
Emulators only appear, if you add roms for it... We don't show empty systems. Just as @acris said.

I placed the N64 rom in this exact location "Z65 BIOS.7z
do I need to do anything with that file ? I can't find a wiki on it

That is not a location.
n64 needs no bios:

Please, inside every rom folder is a _readme.txt with very important information... read it:

.7z files are not supported in recalbox. -
