Input text without a keyboard

There will be any chance to input text in Emulation Station without a keyboard, like Kodi?

Indeed, that could be a great feature. But that is not in the to do list, to add a virtual keyboard to emulationstation.
But if someone want to work on this, or add virtual keyboard to the virtual gamepads application to use a smartphone as a keyboard, that will be added to the system.
