@bkg2k however I’m experiencing lot of crash, again black screen and freeze, and one time I’ve lost completely sd card integrity. Pi zero 2 version is very very very unstable.

I have similar problems, the game starts and runs, I quit the game and start another one, it starts with 1 FPS, recalbox manager is off, display 720p.

@link281 hope they fix as soon as possible; mine lose even wifi config at every reboot, and screenscrapers do not works very often...thanks again to recalbox crew!

I’ve to remove everything, even overlays, but no way: on quit games, very ofter black screen appears and need to reboot…very frustrating

When the problem occurs could share the file
/var/log/messageswhich can be foundin Logs tab of the managerby connecting through SSH? -
@davidb2111 ok I'll have to look how to SSH I have Friday off so will look then is there anyway of taken the memory card out to view the log on my pc

log files are not stored on disk nor sdcard. The only way to get it is through SSH.

Hello, I did a little research on the Internet. I then read that you can set the ram for video. and I did that in the config.txt set gpu_mem=128 to gpu_mem=64.
And lo and behold, it works without settings you deactivate. Have tested SNES and repeatedly without black screen or FPS break-ins. Will do more tests the days and then communicate it. Sorry for my bad English. I hope I can help

@link281 thanks i will retry with what you have said over the weekend as mine is being used as a pi hole advert blocker at the min as was sick of it crashing
