Remap in emulationstation menu > gamepad options > configure gamepad
@acris no, that’s not the way of doing it. Doing so will also map the buttons in-game incorrectly.
@PanJanDrum the truth is that there is still no easy way of changing the controls in EmulationStation. The only thing easy to change is the controls wihtin retroarch’s menu (swap A and B inside retroarch), but that’s not exactly what you are asking and I don’t remember the name of the entry to change either (it should be self-explnatory though).

hello You have go to controller and you have to go to configure controller and you must press long on a button ,wait and you have to do with your joystick the positions of joystick and buttons by pressing the button he tells you to put and now your controller is configured

Same here, I am used to japanese/asia button mapping too
snes a / ps o = confirm
snes b / ps x = cancel
It would be nice to have a setting allowing to swap these two buttons for the fontend commands.
(as paradadf mentionned, not remapping the controller button because in game buttons will be incorrectly remapped, just swap a/b in fontend).
