WIFI Dongle Recalbox
-
Hello everyone, i've bought a wifi dongle Realtek 802.11n, but I don't know how to make it work with Recalbox. I've already checked and it's compatibl with Realbox, and even did the ''blacklist'' thing, but I don't know what to do with the installation of the wifi dongle. Someone can give any help?

@ishim7924 hello you have to edit your config.txt file to disable the Pi's BT.
Mmmh I did it but I do not remember the command line...
Yees...
dtoverlay=pi3-disable-btSorry for this it s time to go to work.

@ishim7924 just plug it in and it should be automatically be selected first as far as I know. If that isn’t the case, as suggested, blacklist the built in chip.

@paradadf but it doesn't need any previous installation like, in my computer? and can it work better with a usb to ethernet adapter?
-
@jearon why the bluetooth if it is wifi dongle?

@ishim7924 dtoverlay=pi3-disable-wifi

@ishim7924 Oooups! Sorry Ishim its nearly the same command as @OyyoDams said

@oyyodams so, doing that I can start using the wifi dongle. One last question, it only needs to plug in the dongle, or I need to click ''activate wifi'' on red ''configurations'' part? And, it will appear as ''disssconected'' always, or it will apear normally as ''connected''? Because i've seen other posts were people said it will appear as ''disconnected'', but that doesn't matter.
