- Top Gear (SNES): 2 players co-op, easy to stay on the road
- You may also try Secret of Mana (SNES): 2 players co-op RPG, your kid can slash rabbits around with the main player while you play the other 2 characters (healer / wizard)
- Galaga (MAME)

My 7 year old niece use to play Pac-Man, dig dug, Bubble Bobble, Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, etc. These are the most favorite games played by her ever since my sister started buying the games from instant-gaming along with CD keys, that too in the best deal price. You can also find a variety of Retro games on sites like Instant-gaming, Cd keys etc..
