Thank for your help. I tried messing about with the config.txt file but not sure I tried that. Was using 3.2.3 at the time. Upgraded to 3.2.4 this morning so will give it another go but will definitely be trying out the beta later today. Cheers
Thanks for you help. What I've done is ssh into recalbox and entered 'cat wpa_supplicant.conf' and it shows the correct SSID and password. By luck I think it's now working. The bluetooth adapter arrives in a few days so hopefully everything will up and running fully by the end of the week. I love this project, keep up the excellent work! Nick
Hi, yes exactly. It's in 720p, but it could be in 480p you would not see the difference. So i don't see the point of having 1080p on games with native resolution of 256px...
You can set the GPIO 1 for player 1 and an other joystick for player 2 if you need.
yes, I know, but when I only have wired my case for one player and it shows 2 controllers connected is confusing in a enduser point of view. therefore it would be nice to have a setting for saying your raspberry pi how many gpio controllers I do use.
The preconfigured hotkey is the Home button. That allow you to quit with Home+Start, and you can use select for coins in mame4all (there is a bug where you can't add credit on certain games if select is the hotkey) The common rule for the hotkey is to use an unmapped button, or Select.
Hi pal, yes see the wiki entry i just made : https://github.com/digitalLumberjack/recalbox-os/wiki/Compatibility-(EN) many dongle are compatible, just avoid really cheap ones because you will have a lag on controllers. See Logilink, CSL, Asus dongle on amazon. My experience tells me you will have to get one > 7$ 🙂
