Ich nutze Recalbox 7.2 auf einem Raspi 4 (2 GB). Ich habe erst nach dem Update auf Recalbox 7.2 angefangen mich mit Virtuelle Systeme zu beschäftigen, daher weiß ich nicht, ob ich es nur falsch mache oder ob es ein Bug von 7.2 ist.

Wenn ich Last Played aktiviere, habe ich im Hauptmenü ein zusätzliches System, welches meine zuletzt Gespielte anzeigt. Soweit so gut. Jetzt habe ich versucht das Selbe bei Genres zu machen. So habe ich z.B. "Shoot em Up" aktiviert und hätte jetzt gehofft bzw vermutet, dass dies auch auf dem Hauptmenü ersichtlich wird. Dies ist jedoch nicht der Fall.

Wie muss ich mir diese Funktion vorstellen?

Vor 7.2 funktionierte alles mit meiner China Variante vom Controller alles tadellos. Seit 7.2 habe ich allerdings mehrere Probleme.

Problem 1: Der Controller hat alle paar Sekunden Aussetzer, als ob er die Verbindung zum Adapter verlieren würde.

Problem 2: Ich kann gerade nicht mehr den Controller konfigurieren. Dumm dass mein letzter Versuch von mir zum Testen mit falschen Tastenzuordungen durchgeführt wurde.

Ich werde mein Raspi 4 nochmal neu installieren, sobald 7.2.1 erschienen ist. Dann sollte zumindest Problem 2 weg sein.

Well, hopefully it won't take too long to get to 7.2.1. I took a look in GitLab and it looks relatively peaceful there with the issues. Not much has been reported there.

After the update to 7.2 no psx game works. I have not changed anything else. I start the game and a few seconds later I am back in the menu.

Prinzipiell ist der Raspberry Pi 4 bis zu 3x schneller als der Pi 3. Ich glaube ich spare mir das viele Schreiben und verweise dich freundlich auf diesen Beitrag von Heise. Dort siehst du auch einige Benchmarks.

Ich selbst habe den 4er seit einigen Tagen am Laufen. Bisher läuft alles super. Wobei ich mich auf die alten Konsolen konzentriere und nicht so modernes Zeugs wie PSX oder so. Das modernste, was ich gespielt habe war God of War für die PSP. Und dort war es nicht immer ruckelfrei bzw in der richtigen Geschwindigkeit. Ich habe meine Pi4 nicht übertaktet. Da müsste also, was Performance betrifft, noch etwas gehen.

Vielleicht interessant. Die drei N64 Spiele, die ich gezockt habe (Ocarina of Time, Paper Mario und Majoras Mask) liefen alle ruckelfrei.

Aber vielleicht wäre ein odroid, mit noch mehr Power, das richtige für dich. Dazu habe ich allerdings überhaupt keine Erfahrungswerte.

Inzwischen bin ich da schon ein gutes Stück weiter.

Die perfekte Lösung habe ich noch nicht gefunden, aber so wie es jetzt ist, kann ich ganz gut mit leben.

Ich habe alle IPF Dateien entpackt in einem Verzeichnis liegend. Dann habe ich den Screenscraper benutzt, der alles gescraped hat. Damit ich nicht ein Spiel, welches 8 Disketten besitzt nun 8x in der REcalbox angezeigt bekomme, habe ich mir ein kleines Programm geschrieben, welches die gamelist.xml danach aufräumt und sämtliche doppelte Einträge versteckt und den Favorites Flag entfernt (da es sonst trotz "versteckt" noch immer angezeigt wird.

Jetzt sieht es schon ganz gut aus :). Schade, dass es von Recalbox selbst nicht irgendwie eine bessere Möglichkeit gibt.

ich hätte gerne gewusst, wie ich die Amiga 600 (bzw. 500) Spiele richtig in den Rom Ordner einpflegen muss. Ich habe ein Rom Set in dem jedes Spiel mit allen Disketten sich in einer Zip Datei befindet. Doch funktioniert dann kein Spiel mehr, welches mehr als eine Diskette hat, weil ich kein Diskettenwechsel vollziehen kann.

Wenn ich sie jeweils in ein Verzeichnis entpacke, kann ich die Disketten zwar Auswählen und alles funktioniert soweit ,dass ich spielen kann, doch beim Scrapen mit Screenscraper wird mir fälschlicherweise jedes Verzeichnis als Container für x Spiele angezeigt, wobei X die Anzahl der Disketten sind, z.B. das Verzeichnis Dune hat 3 Files für jede Diskette also zeigt mir Recalbox an, dass sich im Ordner Dune 3 Spiele befinden. Dazu zeigt es für jede Diskette jeweils das Cover an. Eigentlich auch keine schöne Lösung.

Wie machen das andere hier?
