I've just done it, but nothing happens, and that's the reason why I asked for an advice.
Hi there,
after the update, Recalbox seems not seeing the roms on the NAS. FYI I followed this guide:
https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Load-your-roms-from-a-network-shared-folder-(EN)
But "mount -a" seems not working at the boot. Only after logging on Recalbox with the Terminal, typing manually "mount -a" and refreshing the roms list, it works.
Do you have any tips for this problem?
Thank you
Good to know! It is so useful! Thank you for the info!
Useful for anyone is building an arcade cabinet or a console with a RPi inside.
Check it out: http://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Raspberry-Pi-Shutdown-Button/
I'm translating the website in Italian. I'm also a DMOZ editor and I suggested Recalbox website for inclusion into the directory.
Great idea for the list, @Nachtgarm. I just updated the thread!
On my Overclocked RPi2, for example, FFVIII sometimes skips, but it's playable.
Thank you @rockaddicted, just added the info on the spreadsheet!
I started this Google Spreadsheet @Nachtgarm made a more detailed version of the list with PSX Compatibility for Recalbox where you can add your tests and sharing them with everybody. It's easy to understand, you can find:
If you use this list, please be sure you have the latest version of Recalbox!
Please, check it out this link!
No, @davidwrightini. I have trouble in running some PSX disc images, all coming from the same source.
Hi there, I have all the three PSX BIOS files:
But only the USA disc images are working. I think it's a problem of BIOS, but I can't delete everytime the offending ones. Do you have any advice? Thank you!
What version is, @VanDutch? Pal or NTSC?
Just added the alias vodafone.station instead the ip and it works. Life is strange!
I still have this problem.
`# mount -o remount,rw /
Error opening terminal: xterm-256color.
mount: mounting //192.168.1.5/b/roms on /recalbox/share/roms failed: No such device or address`
Anyone else?
@Adrià-García Your're welcome. It should work like a charm because the firmware is that one!
I'm sorry, it was the wrong firmware, but i corrected it. Now it should work. I got the same problem with another TP-Link Dongle and now it works!
I'm sorry, I don't speak spanish, but I understand it a little. Could it help?
Go on ssh, then :
mount -o remount, rw /
Then you must download a missing firmware :
wget https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/rtlwifi/rtl8192cufw.bin -O /lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8192cufw.bin
