Hi guys. Do you intend to update it to v7.0.X?
I have it on my system and I noticed that the "slide" transition is not working properly anymore, the frame moves with the screen and it's a littlw awkward.

With the recent implementation on the Rpi4, I would like to know if there are significant performance on the Rpi4 (specially Dreamcast and PSP) and if the Rpi4 supports other consoles (ex: PS2, Saturn, etc).
I'm considering to purchase a Rpi4 but if there are no significant advantages, I"ll probably stick with my Rpi3 for a while.

@Scavy Yeah, it is inside of a plastic case. I'll try to pair them again "nude" (the Pi, not me) and see if it works, but I'm kinda skeptic since I've tried to pair the 8bitdos very close to the case before and also my other sdcard with 6.1.0 pairs them well even at distance.

I did try pairing in android and switch mode. I also changed the line you suggested. But to no avail, ES recognizes the controller on the list of bt devices (correctly, with the correct 8bitdo Sn30Pro and everything) but stays on "In progress..." for a long time and then "Unable to pair controller".

I've tried other bluetooth dongles and also the internal bluetooth. Nothing.
This happens since version 6.1.1. I repeat, version 6.10 works FINE (on the same system, same bt dongle, same board, same everything). Tried the "pair from command line" on 6.1.1 and didnt work, so it will probably not work now again.

I'm stuck on version 6.1.0 only because of this controller problem and it's frustrating...

Again at 7.0.1 RPi3 I'm having problems with pairing 8bitdo controllers.
I still have a SD card with Dragonblase 6.1.0 installed with works really fine with 8bitdo controllers - pairing is easy and it stays paired even after reboots.

But in 7.0.1 I have problems connecting to 8bitdo. The same behavior was present in 6.1.1 (that´s why I was stuck with 6.1.0).

Any way to bypass this? What changed from 6.1.1 onwards that is causing this problem and was not addressed in 7.0.X?

Good luck trying to solve this on 6.1.1. I had to rollback to 6.1.0 (the previous version) which was working flawlessly with my 8bitdo controllers. I was lucky I had another rpi3 with 6.1.0 installed so I cloned my other card.
I tried to install 6.1.1 from scratch on several cards and several rpi3 to no avail. Also tried connecting with bluetoothctl - it works but loses connection on reboot.
So reinstalled 6.1.0 and everything is ok. Good luck trying to find the 6.1.0 to download though.

So: I tried to reinstall Recalbox 6.1.1 from scratch all over again. 8bitdo pairing suffering from the same problems (cant pair). Tried to pair manually via bluetoothctl, it WORKS - but does not keep paired after a reboot.
I honestly do not know what to do anymore. Cant find older version (6.0) anywhere anymore and 6.1.1 is useless for me if I cant keep my gamepads paired.
If someone have any solutions for this, please let me know.

@le2064 I dont know about you, but I have my roms, saves and bios on a NAS server on my Network.
And I have 2 rasppi3+ on my home, both sharing roms, saves and bios (I can play on the living room, save and continue on the bedroom).

You have to edit recalbox-boot.conf (as you said before) and add:

Having exact the same problem, since I upgraded to 6.1.1 I can (manually) pair my 2 controllers but only one of them can connect at the same time.
As soon as I switch off one controller the other one will connect instantly and vice versa.

But not both at the same time.

Is there a image with the 6.0 version availible?

Hey Bios, have you tried reinstall the whole system from scratch?

@c-f-g Don't mean to hijack your post, but I'm having the same problem as well. I was thinking about reinstall recalbox from scratch, have you done that?
I have 2 SN30 Pros that were working flawlessly before 6.10 and are not working since then, even after 6.1.1.

@airdream I tried that but Genesis Plus has weird sounds. Anybody noticed that? Like a different sound processor or synth.
So currently we have 2 choices: Pico with displaced screen or G+ with weird sounds.
