RE: Recalbox on multiple PCs?
@powering if you boot via a usb stick, it means you do not need to worry about ANY driver issues.
You need to copy your bios, overlay, and roms folders etc over to the new storage device, but thats just a simple "drag and drop" on a PC.
Im not on here a lot.
Join the Discord channel where Im always about if you need any more help. -
RE: Recalbox on multiple PCs?
@powering hi, you cant do that.
On expanding and creating its files on 1st bootup, it installs the graphics card driver, network driver etc for that specific PC and its specific hardware.Easiest thing to do is what I did for someone.
Get 2 cheap 16gb usb sticks off Amazon, 1 for each PC.
Install Recalbox as normal on each. Now just boot Recalbox, and in the settings, point it to your portable HD.
Job done.
Can now just plug the HD into whatever of the 2 PCs you wish to use Recalbox on. -
RE: Hide / Delete Systems or Emulators - Solution
@Kiliano-Lopes yes, so you just select the "hide pre installed games" option.

RE: Can a PS3 console made into a Recalbox gaming station?
@wattaman hi, its nothing to do with how powerful the hardware is tbh.
Recalbox, like Batocera and Retropie can only run on Linux based systems.
Below is the only supported hardware: -
RE: Using Instagram While Playing Games on Recalbox
@aleciamiles that is an android app.
Recalbox doesnt run on android, just like Retropie, Retrobat and Batocera all do not run on android. -
RE: Hide / Delete Systems or Emulators - Solution
Why not simply select the "hide empty systems" in the settings with just a few button presses?
It will then not show any system that does not have any ROMs / game files present. -
RE: RustyMG's overlay pack
Hi all,
Finally, I have got round to posting my 1080p bezel set.
All the above are included in the zip file, which can be downloaded from : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1NqxOZNAEqZcj6uGxTKrrgK9K10dAPQzz?usp=sharingTo use this bezel set, simply unzip the contents into the overlay folder in your Recalbox setup, and ensure Recalbox is set to display in 1080p (you can do this by editing the recalbox.config file in the /recalbox/system folder). Thats it - you are ready to go!
I have created many of these overlays myself in Photoshop, and for the rest, have taken the best image I could find for each system, and modified (in some cases, almost beyond recognition) them until I was happy with how they looked.
I am more than happy to credit ANYONE whose image I have based my work on, and if you are one of these people, please contact me via here, or the Discord channel.
The people I know I need to thank are Krakerman, OrionsAngel, and Duimon.
My Sega32x, Atomiswave and Naomi overlays were automatically scraped via ARRM from www.screenscraper.fr
PLEASE LEAVE A THANK YOU IF YOU USE
And leave a message here if you find any issues / bugs in the cfg files.

RE: RustyMG's overlay pack
Hi all,
This never got resolved, but over the last few days, Ive went thru all my systems and redid all the config files for a 1080p bezel set.Last night I tested 70 plus systems.
Four need tweaked, so thats not a bad hit rate.
Once fixed and retested, bezels for EVERY libreto core will be avail in 1080p except for MAME, as a lot of people have their own.
I may up mine separately, meaning IF anyone has the rom I have, a bezel will be there...
But that folder will obviously be huge.Give me a week

RE: Recalbox-Team strikes again !
@Cellcon Hi, Ive been on this forum for years, in the English section, and my PERSONAL OPINION, is that this forum is literally dead compared to the french one.
However, there is a lot more support on the Discord channel, and, if needed, so what ive done - bring up the google translate english to french, type in yer query, and put it in the French section if you get no response in the english one, then obv do a french to english back to read the response.Ive used Retropie, Recalbox, Retrobat (which I still use on my PC) and Batocera, and, if you think Recalbox can be hard going..... Its easily the easiest to use, plug and play setup Ive ever used.
Is it perfect ?
God no, but, honestly, Ive tried them allexcept Lakka, which, rightly or wrongly, didnt even look worth the bother for my needs.Oh PS
The md5 is a red herring - just get the correct rom set and your fine

RE: Fun Side of SMS Bomber - Spreading Laughter, Not Harm!
@harryson3545 Its probably best you dont use someones picture as your profile picture that a reverse google search can identify as being fake.....
Two new members, one whose first post is to mention a random amazing game no one has ever heard of, and the other, in a billion to one co-incidence, has also played said game and thought it was "brilliant".
Good god....

RE: Hide unwanted Files
@Cellcon apologies.
Boot up ARRM
Untick the "hide .bin . dat" option so ALL the files show.Highlight all those unwanted files, right click, choose "mark as hidden", job done.
If you then save out that xml file, they wont show in Recalbox.I had to do that years back with all the "extra" files in my CD32 collection.
-
RE: Hide unwanted Files
- it makes no difference
- that is EXACTLY why I said use ARRM.
It will automarically hide the files in the. xml file for you, so they no longer appear in Recalbox.
-
RE: N64 games runs slow
@KoCinsKy I would ensure that "rewind" is switched off, as this kills the performance on the newer consoles on Recalbox.
I do not even use it on my PC Recalbox setup..... -
RE: Hide unwanted Files
@Cellcon I just scraped my games with ARRM on my PC, and ticked the hide options to automatically hide all none "game" files.
Simple to do, and takes just minutes. My setup:
