RE: some N64 roms won't work properly on pi 4 Recalbox 7.0.1 but work fine pi 3 7.0.1
Just FYI those other cores are showing up on PC version of Recalbox, but have not been able to get them working 100% (Video misalignment) I'll be trying to fix it this week.

RE: Problème saccade avec RP4+ 8Go RAM et Recalbox 7.0.1 Reloaded
I put the BIOS files in the shared bios folder except for UniBIOS which should be in your mame folder.
I've had no sound issues on my rock64 boards and PC. I did a search on this forum for other sound issues and didn't come up with much except for N64. Maybe it's your television. Try changing the sound settings on the television.
What sound device do you have selected in emulation station?

RE: Problème saccade avec RP4+ 8Go RAM et Recalbox 7.0.1 Reloaded
It could be a problem with your SD Card. What brand is it? You might want to test on a PC with chkflsh or crystaldiskmark. It could be a problem with your controller try another. If the controller is malfunctioning it could be constantly sending extraneous data causing a buffer overrun. Other than that it might be a problem with your PI 4.

Xinit and Xserver errors are usually associated with the Linux video card driver.
Here's a link to AMD's driver page.

Playing Conker's bad fur day on N64 is impossible so much that it drags
I just loaded Project 64 on my AK1 under windows and it play's Conker's Bad fur day almost perfect. 60fps even at 1080p. I think the emulators need some tweaking under linux. Not sure why I have the same sound issues under Recalbox. You'd think the emulators would be even better under linux. I've only had the AK1 a week now, will be doing some more testing.

RE: ACEPC AK1 Drops to $120
I have the thing hooked up and the Mupen64Plus-Glide emulator does not display properly. I'm sure it can be fixed but need some time to dig into it. I did load linux and compiled RetroPi same emulator and it did work but still had audio stuttering. Some easy to emulate driving games seem to work good.
I believe the audio stuttering is that the Video isn't fast enough to be in sync with the audio.
Since I have windows on the emmc drive I will load Project 64 and see if the problem persists. My 12 core windows machine plays them perfect. I tested one 3do game and it seemed to run ok.I want to test Dreamcast and Playstation 2 also.

ACEPC AK1 Real PC Not much more than a Pi 4.
???????
Sorry, I don't understand.I meant that that the ACEPC AK1 x86 is considerably faster than a Odroid or Pi 4. 2x+ vs Pi 4. Not to mention graphics improvements utilizing Intel Graphics 5000. At the moment they can be had for $120 US Dollars (Not much more than Pi 4 loaded). I Just received my ACEPC AK1 and will be loading RecalBox on it in the next couple of days. Hopefully emulation won't suffer with the same sound and other issues apparent on ARM machines.
