@voljega I'm curious to as why all the other systems have the exit set up as an 2 button combo then.

RE: bug report: Dreamcast (Reicast) hotkey exists directly the game
@rockaddicted Not to sound overbearing on the issue but merely being careful probably isn't the best way. The home button is right in the middle of the controller and common to b*mp and seeing as most people don't stare at their controller while playing games, it'll be an annoying fault for people playing Dreamcast.

RE: bug report: Dreamcast (Reicast) hotkey exists directly the game
Is there a way to change it? Seems a bit risky if you accidentally b*mp that home button that you'll exit your game.

I just tested out the Dreamcast emulator and also noticed the home button/hotkey was exiting the game.

D**n. I was going to do the update but can't see the point if it's going to break things.

Should I use .CDI or GDI files for Dreamcast?
Hi. I've just upgraded to the latest version of Recalbox and want to play Dreamcast games. I wanted to know if I'm better off using .CDI or GDI files for my games?
Thanks

RE: Multiple versions of the same game
@voljega Great! Wasn't sure if it was out of date or not. Think I'll use it as a guide and just take the roms I need.

RE: Multiple versions of the same game
Ok so I cleaned up my romsets for my consoles and I have no doubles and everything looks great.
Now I have to sort Mame and Final Burn. Obviously there's a lot of doubles, triples of games in these set which I don't need.
I'm not sure where to start. Should I follow the best arcade 4 recalbox spreadsheet and sort my games based on that? is that document still up to date/relevant? -
RE: Multiple versions of the same game
@acris Thanks for that. I actually just tried Rom Center and after some playing around, it allowed me to do what I needed. I also tried clrmamepro but found it a bit confusing.

Multiple versions of the same game
Hi all. I'm currently setting up a Pi with Recalbox.
Currently I have a no intro romset for Super Nintendo. However I noticed that I have lots of double or triples of the same game but from Different regions. So say I have Super Mario World, I'll have a Japanese rom, a US rom, a Europe rom of the same game. Obviously I don't need 3 versions of the same game nor do I want my game menus displaying multiple copies. And there's also the extra storage it takes up.
So my question is, is there a way I can sort all these games on my PC before I copy them over to my Pi? I only want to have the European version on there and not multiples. Also if a game is only available in say Japanese or USA versions, I'd still like to have these roms. I don't want to exclude these regions completely, I just don't want multiples of games.
I heard clrmamepro might be the thing I need? I don't know much about it but I've heard it mentioned.
Thanks.

RE: Resident Evil 2 + disc swapping issues (PSX)
@unik314r Yeah the problem with that is that I build Recalboxes for friends who enjoy games but no zero about how emulators, roms or much in the way technical. So get them to go and rename and delete files is probably asking a bit much from their technical abilities.

Resident Evil 2 + disc swapping issues (PSX)
Hi.
I've currently got a copy of a .pbp file version of Resident Evil 2 which I'm trying to use on Recalbox.
The game has 2 discs. Leons disc (disc1) and Clairs disc (disc2) Any if you want to play either scenario, you use the corresponding disc. With the .pbp version you can automatically play Leons disc from start to finish but there's no way to select Clairs disc in the .pbp version.
I've tried doing the disc swapping as shown here.
https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/How-to-switch-multi-disc-PS1-games-(EN)However after I do that and click resume to exit the menu and resume the game, it doesn't load the other disc. Instead it just freezes the game. At this point I have to reset the game.
I've tried this with 2 versions of the game in .PBP format and have the same issue.
Does anyone have any info on how I can fix this?
Thanks

RE: What will happen with Xbox 360 when 4.1 goes stable?
That's great news. I was worried I was going to have to get my friends to send me back their Recalbox units to fix.

RE: What will happen with Xbox 360 when 4.1 goes stable?
@acris So you just mean remapping from the options menu in Recalbox?
Will I need to change any config files?

What will happen with Xbox 360 when 4.1 goes stable?
Hi. I'm just wondering what will be happening with xbox 360 controllers when 4.1 goes stable? Will they just work automatically? or will there be changes to the drivers and we'll need to update the file (cant remember the file name) to make them work.
I'm asking as I've built a couple of recal box units for friends that use these controllers and I'm worried that if they update their recalbox version when 4.1 goes live, that their controllers will stop working.
Thanks

RE: Is the XBOX 360 Wireless Reciever compatible?
@rockaddicted Lol yep that one. I picked up a 360 at a garage sale recently and it came with that and the guy said it was some kind of adapter and I assumed it was a controller adapter.

RE: Is the XBOX 360 Wireless Reciever compatible?
I bought a second hand XBOX 360 recently and it came with the wireless receiver (the grey rectangle with the 2 anteenas). I tried plugging it into my Pie3 with Recalbox but it didn't seem to work for me. I ended up buying a cheap $10 third party receiver instead.
But maybe others have gotten theirs to work?
