      I am connecting a raspberry pi 3 + Recalbox 4.1.0 to the HDMI input of my Honda HRV. Recalbox starts perfectly. There is image and sound, just fine. But when I start Megadrive or SNES, the image goes away and my car's screen shows "unsupported HDMI input". The error seems to be an unsupported resolution or something like that emulationstation is trying to use and the car doesn't recognize it.
      I think the audio system supports up to 800x480 resolution. This Recalbox installation works fine on a pc's monitor.

      How can I fix that?

          Thank you!
          I fixed it by doing this in recalbox.conf:
          global.videomode=default
